A Yin practice through the Heart–Kidney axis.
Long before modern medicine had language for the nervous system, ancient practitioners meticulously mapped the body’s inner landscape and discovered key indicators of lasting wellbeing — and a scientific method for restoring balance within us.
In this immersion, we’ll move through the lens of classical Chinese medicine’s Fire–Water relationship and the Heart–Kidney axis, exploring six key meridian pathways and what they reveal about clarity, protection, and resilience.
Through Yin practice, we’ll learn to relate to the body as a fluid and fascial network and experience first-hand the benefits of practicing and healing in community. This time-honored approach offers an immediate and urgently needed antidote to modern overstimulation by empowering you with practical tools for self-regulation and nervous system regeneration.
The Fire–Water relationship, mapped through the body.
Each meridian opens a doorway into the Heart–Kidney axis — the dialogue between activation and rest, expression and reserve.
Heart
The seat of clarity and presence — how we meet ourselves and others with steadiness.
Small Intestine
Discernment in action — separating what nourishes from what no longer serves.
Pericardium
The Heart’s protector — boundaries that allow connection without depletion.
San Jiao
The Triple Burner — coordinating warmth, fluid, and flow across the whole system.
Kidney
Our deepest reserve — essence, willpower, and the foundation of resilience.
Urinary Bladder
The longest meridian in the body — holding tension, fear, and the capacity to release.
