A Night to Remember is now A Night to Remember: After Dark — moved to Friday, October 30. The shorter days give us the real darkness a night like this deserves: floating candles, low light, the ambience we've been picturing all along. And it opens our first Halloween party.
An evening in two parts, held after dark. First, sixty minutes of Yin led by Brianna Stahl — by candlelight, held by live classical music you don't just hear. Cello and violin move through the room and into the body, and the long holds of Yin give what's stored there a way out.
Then the doors open, and the night turns. Our first Halloween party begins — food, drinks, and the people you've been practicing beside, together in the low light. Stay as long as you like.

Yin you can feel in the body.
Sixty minutes of Yin led by Brianna Stahl, scored live by Trio Clara. Recorded music plays at you. Live strings play through you — cello and violin move air, and in a long hold you stop hearing the instruments and start feeling them land in the ribs, the hips, the floor of the pelvis.
The practice is built around emotional release. Yin asks the body to stay in a shape long enough for what's stored there to surface — the hips, the chest, the places we hold what we haven't put down. The music meets that, and gives it somewhere to go.

The doors open.
When the Yin closes, we open the doors and the evening turns into our first Halloween party. Food and beverages, all in the low light — come as you are, or come as someone else entirely.
This is the part we're building the night around — the chance to actually meet the people you've been practicing next to. Some you know. Some you don't yet.
No agenda. Stay for a while.
