Community Weekend.
Three days of practice, partnership, and the people we're still becoming a room for.
Freedom is a practice. So is belonging.
Community Weekend opens on Juneteenth and runs through the summer solstice and International Yoga Day — three days built around freedom, liberation, and the room we want Arise to be for everyone who walks through the door.
Some of it happens on the mat. Some of it happens out in Juanita Village with the neighbors who make this corner of Kirkland what it is. All weekend, you're our guest — come practice, bring someone new, and stay for whatever the day holds.
A word on Sunday's guests. Many of you already know Craig Baldwin. Joining him is Gina Salá — a true master of Sanskrit, mantra, and sacred sound, with deep roots across the world's spiritual traditions. Here's a little of her work.
Flow all day, morning to evening.
We open on Juneteenth with a full day of practice across the schedule.

Yoga Nidra: Freedom & Inspired Action
We'll begin with gentle movement and breath practices to help settle the body and quiet the mind before moving into a guided Yoga Nidra meditation. Throughout the workshop, we'll also engage in self-reflection through journaling and group discussion, creating space to explore our themes both internally and in community.
Juneteenth invites reflection on freedom — its celebration, its significance, and the ways it continues to shape our lives. The summer solstice marks a time of abundance, illumination, and expression. Together, these observances offer an opportunity to consider what freedom feels like in our own experience, and what actions might naturally arise from that place of clarity and connection.
Through gentle movement, rest, reflection, and conversation, we'll explore the relationship between inner freedom and inspired action. This workshop is designed to support deep relaxation, self-inquiry, connection, and renewal.
No prior experience with Yoga Nidra is necessary. All are welcome.
All weekend, you're our guest. Come as you are, and bring someone with you.
